Company Background

History

In 2005, founders Ryan Porter and Bob Brenner started HomeView Technologies to provide homeowners with a way to watch the progress as their homes were being built. The business was such a hit that builders inquired about monitoring their sites in real-time. This started a chain reaction of new methods and products to meet a growing demand for surveillance and security.

Today, the largest companies in the world rely on LVT to provide rapidly deployable surveillance and security whenever and wherever it is needed. While LVT still works with construction, it has expanded to include clients in retail, transportation, critical infrastructure, public safety, and property management.

Hardware + Software

Unlike traditional security solutions that only provide evidence after a crime is committed, we help deter crime, and defend your property. Armed with strobe lights, flood lights, and a loudspeaker, our overt mobile units send a clear message to criminals and provide a reassuring presence for customers and workers.

Thanks to our high-definition PTZ cameras and thermal imaging technology, visitors are easy to see no matter the weather or time of day. Our top-of-the-line hardware connects to LVT’s proprietary video management system (VMS)—a cloud-based software platform that allows you to take full control of your units no matter where you are. A redesigned mobile app gives users complete control of their LVT mobile units and allows you to stream live video, activate deterrents, and receive and respond to alerts when you’re away from your computer.
