Enel produces renewable energy. The company began in Italy in 1962 but has now expanded to operations in more than 53 countries, including in the United States and Canada. Originally, Enel focused their work on hydroelectricity but now invests in solar, wind, nuclear, and other renewable energy sources. In their North American market, Enel has 115 remote sites which require security during their construction and during normal operation, as well as a way to view the everyday processes at each site.
