What is alert response?
Alert response is an add-on service to your LVT Units. The alerts generated by your LVT Units will go to a third-party central station who will follow set protocols to respond to those alerts.
Is alert response the same as camera monitoring services?
No. Unlike traditional camera monitoring services that employ someone to constantly watch the live camera feed, alert response is more efficient. Live agents will respond to the alerts generated by your LVT Unit. For example, when they receive an alert, they will pull up the live stream of the alerting unit and respond accordingly. Their response could include warning trespassers through the on-unit speaker, calling you to appraise you of the situation, or calling local law enforcement if appropriate.
What are the two levels of alert response?
We currently offer two tiers of alert response—standard and extended.
Standard is for nighttime alerts, up to 15 alerts per day. Extended is for up to 24 hours per day, up to 50 alerts per day.
How do I know what level of alert response is best for me?
We’ll work with you to match you to the appropriate tier.

What happens if I have authorized activity happening on my site—will I still be notified?
We will work with you and the third-party central stations to set up when you will be notified, what criteria needs to be met before they reach out to you, and what hours you would like the central station to monitor your alerts.
Can I set up my unit to alert the police when there is unauthorized activity on my property?
Alerts are not sent directly to police. However, we can work with you and your central station to create rules for when and how police should be notified.
