New Version of the LVT App

We are excited to announce the update to our mobile apps for iOS and Android users. Along with some bug fixes, this update has two huge additions.

Access to the Command Center

The Command Center is part of the LVT Platform and is where alerts are cataloged by the unit and managed by the end user. With the updated app, LVT clients can now access their Command Center from their phones. This includes the ability to view each event, create notes on the event, mark each with a tag, and more.

When you log into the app and navigate to the Command Center you will be able to select which unit you want to look at and see its camera views (including optical and thermal if your unit is equipped with both). You can then expand each event and toggle between the unit’s cameras. Once you select an event then you will be able to watch it, make notes, and tag it just as you would through a computer. Furthermore, you can see the map where the unit is located, contacts for that particular property, as well as the procedures for that location. This allows you to manage any events/alerts on your property in real-time and increases the capabilities of your LVT Unit.

For example, one Command Center feature accessible on the app is the disarm button. After viewing an event, you can disarm the unit and tell it how long to remain in a disarmed state. This is useful when an employee arrives early or you’re expecting a delivery or an influx of and you don’t want dozens of alerts or events clogging your Command Center queue.

View health dashboard

The other huge addition to the app is the ability to view the health of your LVT Units. Each unit tracks multiple things including downtime, low voltage, power interruptions, self-healing events, and more. This feature allows you to be informed of how your unit is performing and if there are any problems. This has always been accessible through the LVT Platform, but now it can be viewed from your phone.

That’s why we think it is so important that you know exactly how well your unit is functioning and if there are any problems. With the addition of the health dashboard to the mobile app you can know the health of your unit(s) at any time, from anywhere in the world.
